WWW February 26th

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?
What am I currently reading?  The Splendour Falls by Susanna Kearsley.  I adore this author and usually devour her books as soon as they come.  So far, so good!
What did I recently finish reading?  Lost Lake by Sarah Addison Allen.  OMG!  So good but I can't say anymore until I post my review for Shereads.org this weekend.  :)
What will I read next?  Probably Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater.  I've heard some good things about this one so I'm going to give it a shot.  Besides, it's been a while since I have read a good werewolf book.

  1. Hi Laura,

Thank you so much for stopping by Fiction Books yesterday. I love meeting new people, so you can always be assured of a warm welcome.

Susanna Kearsley is a name which has been on my list of authors to read for quite some time, following glowing ratings and recommendations from so many fellow bloggers. I am really struggling to get to try any of these great new to me names though, as my TBR review pile is in daily threat of collapse and the thousands of physical books sat on my shelves, gathering ages of dust and neglect. I am trying though ... honestly!

Just to add insult to injury, I am now adding the name of another of your authors this week, Sarah Addison Allen. I followed your links and so, on to her website and was immediately hooked by the storylines and yes, I have to admit, swayed by the beautiful cover art when all the titles are displayed together.

Thanks for a lovely post, enjoy your reading and the rest of your week,

    Yvonne.

  2. I'm liking your selection of books! I have Every Secret Thing by Susanna Kearsley (writing as Emma Cole) on my TBR. The cover to Lost Lake is beautiful!

    1. I love her. Most of her books are historical fiction and they usually have just a touch a paranormal in them. The settings are spectacular.

    Happy reading!

  6. Shiver is so good. It's like, subtle good; if that makes any sense. You can just sit and read and get into it. Some say they got bored with it, but I didn't.

  8. I read the Firebird by Susanna Kearsley, but other than that I haven't touched any of her other books, which I should soon. I'm glad you're enjoying it!

  9. I recently read The Winter Sea, which was my first foray into Susanna Kearsley. I fell in love with that book. If you haven't read that one, I highly recommend it. I still need to start some of her others.

I had preordered Lost Lake and owned it since its release, and still haven't read it! I don't even know what's taking me so long! I keep hearing wonderful things about it.
